A TRUE DUAL PURPOSE VEHICLE....

WHY ?

FIRSTLY, THE RIDE HEIGHT WAS DESIGNED SO THAT  13 " RACE WHEELS WOULD GIVE A VERY LOW CENTER OF GRAVITY FOR RACING, BUT COULD BE REPLACED BY 15" ROAD WHEELS FOR SUFFICIENT GROUND CLEARANCE FOR STREET USE.

RACE WHEELS, WINDSHIELD REMOVED...

THE BIGGER WHEELS ALSO "LIFT" THE GEAR RATIO, GIVING THE STALKER A BEAUTIFUL CRUISING OVERDRIVE

( 5TH GEAR ) WHICH ALLOWS IT TO LOPE ALONG AT 80 MPH, WITH THE ENGINE TURNING JUST 2600 RPM !

              

The 3.4l 60 deg V6 converted to carburetor..........The 3800 L67 Supercharged Pontiac / Buick

BOTH THESE ENGINES ARE WELL KNOWN FOR THEIR HIGH, FLAT TORQUE CHARACTERISTICS

WHICH HELP MAKE THE STALKER SO "USER FRIENDLY"

THE STIFF WELL TRIANGULATED FRAME

HAS ALL SUSPENSION ELEMENTS EXPERTLY COMBINED TO GIVE NIMBLE RACE HANDLING
